We have spoken in the past about Web Labs web design capabilities and the long list of clients that they have worked with in this area. One area though that we have not touched upon is the Hosting service that Web Labs provide.
Web Labs have a large range of clients across the UK Public and Commercial Sector where they provide Content Management to Web Design and many other bespoke software services. Because of this, Web Labs provide a hosting service that is built for an environment fit for the clients needs. Focus is put upon security, easy connectivity and disaster recovery.
One of the running themes from Web Labs is on how easy to use their software is for the every day employees so, because of this, the hosting service is dedicated to the back end user ability for front end presentation. Web Labs work along side Microsoft applications such as Active Server Pages and SQL to provide results necessary in the hosting service.
Perhaps look at this in two options. Firstly, if you wish Web Labs to provide you with your own dedicated server then this will be done running along side Windows 2000 or 2003. Completely autonomy will be given with this services allowing you to add your own applications to the server. In addition to this remote access is given. However, Web Labs will provide connectivety and security so you can carry on running you business.
Second option is, if your organisation is looking for a small to medium sized hosting service then Web Labs can help in this so that costs are reduced with the “shared web space solution”. Full control of your Website is maintained if you wish but the hosting of the site is secured alongside any technical adjustments that you may need from Web Labs as hosting provider. Remember though, if you wish Web Labs to maintain the site as many clients do then this is easily done alongside content up dates and other service requests.
Web Labs provide long term service at all times so it is not a case of providing a hosting service and that is that. Any help will be give at all times.
